I found in the net an interesting tutorial (in english) about vehicle dynamics for racing games, written by Ted Zuvich. This tutorial is a good starting point to create a racecar simulation game.

I don't get the last equation(0.30). τ is used to calculate α, which is then used to calculate τ.
I know the subscripts are different, but it still looks like a circle to me.
or you could use www.simul-x.com + havok . No need to re-invent the wheel!
